Ljubiša Perišić has over 30 years of work experience in project management in the fields of health and education following the procedures of the European Union, the European Investment Bank and World Bank. He gained professional experience through managing major government projects in the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. For the European Union he coordinated a charity relating to the health system, and has also managed big health institutions. He graduated from the Faculty of Stomatology, and finished his master studies in health management at the Faculty of Medicine of Belgrade. His key positions were deputy administrator of the project DILS “Providing Advanced Services at the Local Level” and the head of training at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, as well as director of the “Stari Grad” Polyclinic, Management Board Chairman of the “Dr Vukan Čupić” Mother and Child Institute, and the director of the unit implementing the project Urgent Reconstruction of 20 Hospitals at the Ministry of Health. He has worked as a health sector coordinator at the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department (ECHO). The principal aim of the aforesaid projects is the improvement of the health and education systems including the obligation of environment protection. His terms of office on all the projects stated above have produced visible results. Since 2015 he has been in the Eco Global team, greatly contributing to its success by his experience and expertise.
